After Registration

My college is registered for CCSSE 2020. What happens next?

Please note that registration is not considered complete until the college submits the signed agreement form(s) generated at the end of the registration form. Now that you have registered for CCSSE 2020, please keep in mind these upcoming dates:

  1. The CCSSE Liaison will e-mail the Campus Coordinator a link to the electronic CCSSE 2020 Procedure Guide on Monday, November 4, 2019, along with additional details on the CCSSE 2020 administration and access to the Members Only section of the CCSSE website.
  2. Orientation webinars are scheduled for the following dates and will provide further overview of the administration and sampling processes for the spring 2020 administration:

    • Monday, November 11,
    • Tuesday, November 12,
    • Tuesday, December 3, and
    • Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
  3. Key dates for optional CCSSE administration services are outlined below. To discuss or confirm participation in these options, please contact the Center at 512-471-6807 or surveyops@cccse.org.
    • Consortium Participation
      A group of three or more colleges with common interests, characteristics, or locations may form a CCSSE consortium free of charge and receive comparative aggregated data reports and, if the group chooses, administration and analysis of a consortium additional item set. For more information about consortium membership, visit the Options and Rates page.

      Deadline to confirm consortium participation: November 15, 2019

    • Additional Survey Items
      For an additional fee, participating CCSSE colleges may add a standard additional item set or as many as 15 custom items to the survey. For more information about adding survey items, visit the Options and Rates page.

      Deadline to select and submit additional survey items: November 29, 2019

    • Community College Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (CCFSSE)
      For an additional fee, participating CCSSE colleges are also eligible to participate in CCFSSE, a companion web-based survey that elicits information from faculty about their teaching practices, the ways they spend their time in and out of the classroom, and their perceptions regarding their students’ educational experiences. For more information about CCFSSE membership, visit the Faculty Survey section of the website.

      Deadline: CCFSSE registration remains open until participating college submits the Course Master Data File.

    • Survey of Online Student Engagement (SOSE)
      For an additional fee, participating CCSSE colleges are also eligible to participate in SOSE, a companion web-based survey of online-only students at the college. For more information about SOSE membership, visit the SOSE section of the website.

      Deadline: SOSE registration remains open until participating college submits the Course Master Data File.

  4. A CCSSE Liaison will e-mail the Campus Coordinator a link to the online data verification form on December 9, 2019, and it must be completed by December 13, 2019. Until this is completed, the Center will not pull the college’s random sample of selected courses to be surveyed.
  5. Invoices for CCSSE 2020 will be sent to the college president on or around April 1, 2020, with payment due June 1, 2020. Please refer to the Options and Rates page for more detailed Invoicing and Payment information and instructions.
