What happens next?

My college is registered for SENSE 2012.  What happens next?

Now that you have registered for SENSE 2012, please keep in mind these upcoming dates:

  1. Your SENSE Liaison will e-mail an electronic 2012 SENSE Procedure Guide to you on May 7, along with additional details on the SENSE 2012 administration and access to the SENSE Members Only website.
  2. Prior to the end of the spring 2012 academic term, we suggest that you ensure that the President's Memo, available on the Survey Administration tab of the Members Only website, is sent to all faculty, staff, and administrators. This memo endorses the SENSE project and encourages participation in the survey administration process.
  3. Orientation Webinars are scheduled for May 15-May 16 and May 23-May 24 to provide an overview of the administration and sampling processes for the fall 2012 administration. You will be notified of the webinar sign-up procedure via an e-mail from your SENSE Liaison.
  4. Please note there are several early deadlines for optional SENSE membership services. To discuss or confirm participation in these membership options, please contact us at (512) 471-6807 or info@cccse.org for more information.

Consortium Participation
Deadline to confirm consortium participation: May 14
A group of colleges with common interests, characteristics, or locations may form a SENSE consortium and receive comparative aggregated data reports and, if the group chooses, administration and analysis of consortium additional items. For more information about consortium membership, please visit: www.ccsse.org/sense/join/pricing.cfm#SENSEconsortia.

Special-Focus Modules
Deadline to submit Special-Focus Modules: May 30
For an additional fee, participating SENSE colleges may add up to two sets of Special-Focus Modules of up to 12 items each. These modules may be chosen from SENSE's collection of standard Special-Focus Modules and/or the college can opt to create custom modules comprised of items of their own choosing. For more information about adding modules to the survey, please visit: www.ccsse.org/sense/join/pricing.cfm#specialfocus.

  1. Your SENSE Liaison will e-mail you a link to an online Data Verification form on June 4 that must be completed by June 8. Until this is completed, the Center will not pull your college's random sample of selected courses to be surveyed.
  2. Invoices for 2012 will be sent by July 1 with payment due September 1.
