What happens next?

We're registered for SENSE 2018. What happens next?

Now that you have registered for SENSE 2018, please keep in mind these upcoming dates:

  1. Your SENSE Liaison will e-mail the Campus Contact a link to the 2018 SENSE Procedure Guide on May 7, along with additional details on the SENSE 2018 administration and information on accessing SENSE Members Only survey administration materials.

  2. Prior to the end of the spring 2018 academic term, the President's Memo to Faculty, Staff, and Administrators should be distributed. This memo, available on the Members Only Survey Administration page, endorses the SENSE project and encourages participation in the survey administration process.

  3. Orientation Webinars are scheduled for the following dates and will provide a further overview of the administration and sampling processes for the fall 2018 administration.

      Wednesday, May 16, 2018
      Thursday, May 17, 2018

  4. Key dates for optional SENSE membership services are outlined below. To discuss or confirm participation in these membership options, please contact the Center at 512-471-6807 or surveyops@cccse.org.

    • Consortium Participation
A group of three or more colleges with common interests, characteristics, or locations may form a SENSE consortium free of charge and receive comparative aggregated data reports and, if the group chooses, administration and analysis of a consortium additional item set. For more information about consortium membership, please visit: Membership Options.

Deadline to confirm consortium participation: May 14, 2018

    • Special-Focus Modules
For an additional fee, participating SENSE colleges may add up to two Special-Focus Modules of up to 12 items each. These modules may be chosen from SENSE's collection of standard Special-Focus Modules and/or the college can opt to create custom modules composed of items of their own choosing. For more information about adding modules to the survey, please visit: Membership Options.

Deadline to submit Special-Focus Modules: May 25, 2018

  5. A SENSE Liaison will e-mail the Campus Contact a link to the online data verification form on June 4 that must be completed by June 8, 2018. Until this is completed, the Center will not pull the college's random sample of selected courses to be surveyed.

  6. Invoices for SENSE 2018 will be mailed to the college president on or around October 1 with payment due December 1, 2018.
