

2012 ESSI Overview
Register your college team today for ESSI 2012!The Center for Community College Student Engagement, in cooperation with the Community College Leadership Program's initiative in conjunction with Achieving the Dream, will host the 2012 Entering Student Success Institute April 1 -3, 2012, in Santa Fe, NM. Colleges that participate in the Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE) have the special opportunity to send teams (composed of three to five individuals) to the fifth Entering Student Success Institute (ESSI). During the two and a half days, each team will work with data, learn about strategies that can help improve the entering student experience, and formulate an action plan for initiating appropriate strategies. We recommend that each team be composed of individuals from the following areas:
*If it is necessary to choose between the Chief Academic Officer and the Chief Student Services Officer, we strongly encourage sending the CAO because it is essential that work with entering students is integrated across the institution. At the time of registration, one person from each college team must be designated as the Team
Facilitator. We look forward to seeing your team in Santa Fe! Team Price The $7,000 team price (for 3 to 5** people) includes:
**A sixth team member can attend for an additional $1,200 (register as usual) Note: Invoices are sent to college presidents. Full registration payment is due by the date stated on the invoice.
