ENGAGEMENT IN ACTION

Engagement in Action

The Center for Community College Student Engagement encourages colleges to share stories about their experiences using CCSSE, CCFSSE, SENSE, and other data to strengthen student engagement and improve student success.

In particular, the Center is interested in gathering information on emerging or promising practices in a number of areas. These include methods for communicating results across institutions and using survey (and other) data to create more effective educational practices (e.g., promoting active learning, integrating student support in the classroom, improving teaching and learning, professional development for faculty and staff). These descriptions—practical, brief, rooted in data—of college programs and initiatives designed to increase student success are an invaluable resource for our partner colleges.

We are also interested in gathering examples of how colleges incorporate Center data in the accreditation process.

Program descriptions and accompanying data may be published in our National Reports or other publications, posted on our websites, showcased in conference presentations and workshops, and/or quoted in our marketing materials.

To submit a vignette, please see our Engagement in Action form.

Contact us at 512-471-6807 or info@cccse.org for more information about sharing your college story for possible publication.
