State Workshops

The Center offers a free workshop for state systems when all community colleges in that system participate in either the Community College Survey of Student Engagement (CCSSE) or the Survey of Entering Student Engagement (SENSE). These workshops provide colleges with an opportunity for facilitating important conversations about their student data as well as for using those data to inform potential interventions aimed at improved student experiences and outcomes.

Agendas are tailored for each state system to address particular areas of interest. The Center coordinates most of the logistics, including Center staff travel, meeting materials, and participant registration. However, the Center also works directly with the host college or with a state-designated venue, which typically makes arrangements for the meeting space, helps coordinate food and beverages, and supplies needed audio visual equipment and support.
