In addition to and in support of the Center’s core work, the Center operates a number of special initiatives. The initiatives are designed to assist partnering colleges in making data-informed decisions that will positively affect experiences and outcomes for the largest possible number of students. Commitments from these colleges can include administering Center surveys, participation in data-focused student success institutes, and hosting focus group visits.

In efforts to provide unprecedented data for the field, the Center typically disseminates findings and insights from these projects through national reports and other publications, conference presentations, video products, and web-based resources.

Much of the work is generously supported by grants.

More details are available within the individual initiative sections of this website.
